ORIGIN:<\/strong> The name of this parcel has two possible origins. It could be derived from the \u2018Vall\u00e9e aux Meures\u2019, with meures meaning \u2018blackberries\u2019 in ancient French. Brambles, or blackberry bushes, previously grew in this area. A second theory suggests that the name originates from the meurs (walls) which were built around a property or parcels using stones taken from the fields known as \u2018murgers\u2019 or \u2018meurgers\u2019 thereby giving us the \u2018Vall\u00e9e des Meurgers\u2019<\/p>\n VARIETIES: <\/strong>100% Chardonnay.<\/span><\/p>\n VINIFICATION: <\/strong>The producers we have selected supply us with high quality musts which we then vinify in our Chablis cellars. They therefore benefit from the same techniques and care as all of our other wines. The alcoholic fermentation and malolactic fermentation are left to take place naturally.<\/p>\n VINEYARD: <\/strong>The ideal choice for seafood and fish such as salmon or turbot.
