ORIGIN: Champagne, França
VARIETIES: Chardonnay
VINIFICATION: The fruit was harvested at full maturity on the plot of the Croix Courcelles Aÿ Grand Cru. Vinified in small oak barrels for the most part in the hamlet of La Contrôlerie in the Argonne forest. Laydown in the cellar for 7 years.
VINEYARD: Coming from the limestone soils of the south, in Aÿ, free from the usual clichés, limestone is a path of humility so discreet that it is forgotten, and so present that it transmits strength and life.
Tasting Notes It has a pronounced nutty character, complemented by notes of butter, apricot, lemon and saline elements.
