Brut Nature 2016

ORIGEM: Alentejo, sub-region of Vidigueira

VARIETIES: 40% Chardonnay, 30% Arinto, 20% Alvarinho and 10% Baga.

HARVEST: Manual harvest for 12Kg boxes during the early hours of the morning.

VINIFICATION: Cooling the grapes in a cold room for 24 hours to 10oC. Manual selection on a vibrating sorting table. Pressing of whole bunch, followed by cold settling for 48 hours. Fermentation of each grapes varieties in stainless steel tanks with controlled temperature. Aged in basement for 12 months.

WINEMAKERS: Tiago Alves

HARMONIZATION: Ideal has an aperitif, also with fish, seafood dishes and roasted piglet.

Tasting NotesFine aroma, ripe fruit and citrus notes. Delicate and persistent bubbles. In the mouth it is harmonious, smooth and with a long finish. Alcohol content (%Vol.): 11,4%.
