ORIGIN: Douro, Planalto de Alijó
VARIETIES: Feel Blend
HARVEST: Manual harvest held in September 2016 in a vine planted in traditional terraces (over 80 years), with an altitude of 250m to 450m.
VINIFICATION: Manual harvesting for 20kg boxes. The grapes were carefully selected on the of choice table and then destemmed. Fermentation done in a mill with indigenous yeasts. It ended with an aging period of 24 months in barrels, 50% in new barrels, 50% in used French oak barrels (225L).
WINEMAKER: Pedro Branco
HARMONIZATION: Ideal with hunting dishes (partridge), red or white meat, baked in the oven, strong cheeses and chocolate. Excellent company for any leisure time. The ideal service temperature is between 15ºC and 18ºC.
