ORIGIN: Douro, Planalto de Alijó

VARIETIES: Touriga Nacional, Touriga Francesa, Tinta Roriz and Tinta Barroca.

HARVEST: Manual harvest held in September 2016 in a vineyard at the top, with an altitude of 350m to 550m with ages between 20 and 40 years.

VINIFICATION: Manual harvesting to 20kg boxes. The grapes were carefully selected on the selection table and then destemmed. Fermentation done in a mill with indigenous yeasts. Finished with an 18-month aging in used oak barrels.

WINEMAKER: Pedro Branco

HARMONIZATION: Ideal with fish dishes in the oven, all kinds of meats, hunting dishes and more intense cheeses. Excellent company for any leisure time. The ideal service temperature is between 15ºC and 18ºC.

Tasting Notes Intense aromas of red fruits, and light notes of spices. In the mouth it has an intense flavor, soft tannins and a persistent freshness. Long and tasty finish. Alcohol content (% VOL.): 13.5%
